In text elements, when the text is too long, it will wrap to the second line by default. In some situations, you might want to show only a single line within the text element. To achieve this, follow these steps.
One line only
The height of the elements defines the visible space. Refer to the image below for a clearer understanding:

You can choose the type you want by adjusting the element's height.
Possible issue
If the element consistently displays a single line, please remove it and then re-add it to resolve the problem.
